Africa/ Asia Project Reflection

Something I think I will remember for the rest of my life is probably that it's my first school video project and that it was really fun and interesting to learn about Nigeria. The most challenging part of this project was talking on camera, i’m not a good talker when i'm being recorded and it was kinda awkward for the first few clips but I got better later in the project. Three things I did to help my classmates was filming, finding/making stuff for the project, and I helped make my lines for the skit. Something I accomplished was . Advice I would give students for next year would be to get all the studying and the test done as soon as possible so you have the most time to film and perfect everything. Something that was hard in the beginning of the project was talking while someone is recording me, but i got better over time and it's a lot easier now. I feel I made my biggest improvements on talking on camera and helping out my groups members with things. Something the teacher could have done better with this project would probably be giving us a little bit more time, but that's it. Personally I wouldn’t do anything over because I think we did a great job.

The 3 Factors that Influence Settlement

Mar 10, 2016 7:11:25 PM.jpg

The most interesting thing about what influences climate, natural resources, and physical features would be that most people think the warm and cold weather are harsh. I always thought that most people would want to live in a warm sunny place but I guess people think it's harsh. I do get why people won’t want to live in a cold place but sometimes it’s good because you get to play in the snow and have hot chocolate when your cold. Something i'm most proud of on my sketchnote is natural resource pictures because they look really good, cool, and artistic.

SketchNotes on Globalization

I think globalization was very interesting and a fun topic to learn about. The most interesting thing I learned about globalization was either that Asia is most involved in globalization and that the most products are made in Asia because labor is cheap there or that globalization makes there be more than one office/store around the world. One thing I thought was very good and I was proud of myself for drawing this would have to be when I drew Asia and the words going over it “CHINA+ASIA ARE HEAVILY INVOLVED”. Like I said in the beginning I really think globalization was really fun and interesting because we did a lot of fun stuff with it.

Infographic and Standard of living Responses

A country's standard of living does not show how
everyone lives, it shows the averages of the country. I bet one person that lives in Rwanda has more wealth and health than anyone else that lives there. But still the standard of living stats are very bad.
The most interesting thing I have learned about standard of living is probably how they rank the countries
and how other countries have a bad standard of living but
some have a very good standard of living. I thought the wealth, health, education, infrastructure, and leisure time was the most interesting.
I think there is a lot of obligation going on around
the US, but then again there is also a lot of obligation that
is not going around and people are sometimes very greedy
when they get money and don’t want to share, but it's
good to share and everyone who can afford the donate
should. But if you really can’t donate then don't.
